The South Salem women faced off this afternoon against the McNary Celtics, winning 7-1.  All four doubles teams edged their Celtic opponents while 3 of the Saxon singles followed suit.

The four doubles duos consisted of Kate Paluska and Selbie Christensen; Lindsay Flood and Kellie McSween; Catherine Hu and Meg Takara; and freshmen Luciana Linares and Lucy Partridge.  The latter two scored their first varsity match and win today.

On the singles side, Abby Fedor continued to play dominant tennis, nearly upsetting McNary’s Hannah Childress.  Chloe Elmore and Madison Hadden both notched their first varsity win for the Saxons, while sophomore Amy Edelblute won her second of the season.

The Saxons host McKay tomorrow at Bush Park starting at 4:00PM.
