The dynamic twin duo of Jillian and Loryn Studer added to their growing list of accolades with their selection.  After finishing 2nd in the Greater Valley Conference, Jillian and Loryn won the Consolation Bracket at the OSAA State Championships, finishing 5th overall after beating Roseburg’s Norin-Pritchard/Danielson doubles team.

Joining the Studers on the list for the Saxons is freshman Abby Fedor.  Fedor finished 4th at the Greater Valley Conference Championships and qualified for the State Championships where she won her first round match against Grant High School’s Gabby Monbelle.  She then faced eventual 3rd place finisher, Farida Abdelmoneum, from Jesuit who beat Fedor in the 2nd round match.

Fedor leads an experienced group of Saxons next year in their quest for the GVC Championship.  Returning varsity members for the Saxons include Catherine Hu (11), Meg Takara (11), Kellie McSween (11), Mariana Rey-Rosa (10), Chloe Elmore (11), Selbie Christensen (11), Amy Edelblute (10), Lucy Partridge (10), Maris Love (11), Madison Hadden (10), Janie Lapray (9), Luciana Linares (9), Claire Audley (10), Lydia Prestwich (9), Julia Da Silva (9), and Shelby Kruger (11 ).
