Game Recap

The Saxon freshman football team pulled out a 14-7 victory over the Royal Scots on Monday to improve to 4-3 on the year. After falling behind 7-0 on a fumbled ball into the end zone the young Saxons put together a solid drive ending in a 9 yard touchdown pass from Zach Case to Gabe Johnson to pull the halftime score to 6-7. The Saxon’s took control in the second half with a 40 yard scamper by Case in the third quarter. The defense had several holds throughout the game along with some excellent offensive runs by Tony Rodriguez. Next up the Saxons will travel to West Salem for a 6PM game on 10/23.
