South Salem (#2 rank in State, 18-3 overall) beat McKay with a final score of 88 – 56. The Saxons were able to jump on McKay early in the first and disrupt McKay offensively, which led to easy baskets for South Salem on the other end of the floor. After the first quarter South Salem had the lead over Mckay 24 – 7. South Salem beat McKay all 4 quarters, by the end of the game the Saxons earned a 32 point victory. South Salem’s Parker Johnson was dominant in all phases of the game and finished with 31 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals, and one phenomenal charge. Jasper Phipps added 21 points, and Antoine Pessonier had 16 points for the Saxons. Great performance by all Saxons who played Tuesday night.
