Saxons Beat Celtics 7-1

The South Salem women faced off this afternoon against the McNary Celtics, winning 7-1.  All four doubles teams edged their Celtic opponents while 3 of the Saxon singles followed suit.   Today’s match against West Salem allowed the Saxon Women’s Tennis Team to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. Miller Honored with Tennis Scholarship

Senior girl’s tennis standout, Jessa Miller, received the Rick Rasmussen Tennis Scholarship today at the Saxon Senior Awards Ceremony.  A 4-year letter winner, Miller distinguished herself both on and off the court also receiving Salutatorian honors at the ceremony.  This scholarship signifies Jessa as the most valuable female senior varsity tennis player by demonstrating good
